11 12“Furusato Wa Hitotsu(The Earth, Our Only Hometown)”We will come together with our hopesand with our fireworks.In 2014 Mr. Ryudo Uzaki, a musician, and Ms. Yoko Aki, a lyricist,created a song to express Nagaokans’ thoughts. The song is entitled,“Furusato Wa Hitotsu (The Earth, Our Only Hometown).” We haveonly one hometown, the earth. When listening to or singing alongwith this song, everyone comes up with various thoughts and feelingsabout our recovery efforts from the damage caused by disasters,municipal consolidations, bonds among people, friendship and love,and our hometown.
